I'm surprised that you don't like it. IMO it's better than the one on DS.

I honestly can't say that I want content like that exclusive to the Wii. The Wii was honestly a badly timed system, I'm being lead to think. It was great for the now, not so much for the later. When PS3 and 360 came out there just weren't many games worth playing on them. I got a Wii. Because that's where the good games were (at the time). The PS3 started getting good games, so I got good games AND good graphics.
Now, I want my good games and I want my good graphics. And higher processing power. Nintendo (in the next gen) is really going to have to step it up or stick to portables. >_>

Actually they're adding new characters, intros and outros, and rebalancing the characters, among other things.

That game is marketed as a multiplayer game. Beyond two it just is more hassle. I played it with 10 friends who grew up with Mario and four players is too busy to play co-op

Umm, you can use that argument for anything one person likes and another doesn't and dismiss it altogether. I don't know about anyone else, but being able to accidentally push someone into a pit, swallow them, take power ups by accident and a partner is left defenseless...great fun for head to head, but co-op it's a big mess.
Please tell me I am missing some "turn off being able to touch player's characters and taking a power up you already have" button. Any Lego Star Wars/Indiana Jones/Etc 4 player co-op would be amazing, so I do not discount a version of this at all.

Gee this is gonna end badly.
It doesn't help that Nintendo doesn't believe in DLC. As far to my knowledge the only Wii games that have DLC are The Beatles Rock Band, Mega Man 9 and some FF title. No 1st party Nintendo games have any.

I'm not dissing the Wii. And I still probably want to get (another) one. But it just seems so dated in today's gaming industry. It's a good system for someone's very first video game system, but as a competitive gaming platform, it's not performing well at all right now.

The Wii versions of Guitar Hero World Tour has DLC (I should know cause I bought some new songs). I think Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero 5, and Band Hero have DLC as well.

I don't think you understand what Super means to the fighting game community. It's not simply a rerelease of Street Fighter IV. It has completely changed the values of all character movesets, meaning some of the old strategies will not be possible in the new game. This hopefully means the more dominant characters (I'm looking at you Abel >_>) will not have so many advantages and the lower tier characters will actually have a fighting chance.
Making these characters DLC would create a large problem for the old game. None of those characters were designed for the old engine, so they'd stand out significantly and would have far more advantages over the old roster. What about those who can't download/refuse to buy? They would be at a huge disadvantage when playing against these guys, all simply because their game save wouldn't recognize the character or they would have no way to practice against them unless they want to pay even more money. It would also mean these characters would be banned from high level play because not everyone has access to them. Did you know the home-exclusive characters are banned in the EVO competition because they were not available in the arcade version, which is the one most japanese players are familiar with and the version used in the tournaments?

As long as MP is still free...I couldn't care less about prem. content.
--------------------------------------
It doesn't help the Wii has little to no internal storage. It has what? 512 only? That also puts limitations on how much a developer can do with a WiiWare title, as well as DLC.

Nerf Sagat?
Ha! He was extremely overpowered in his debut and he's remained extremely overpowered since then. That guy couldn't stay out of the top tier if they brought him into the game in a wheelchair.

And that's exactly why I <3 him, haha.
I loved how in SSF2 Turbo, his heavy tiger uppercut, if connected was 8 hits.
I also love connecting a tiger knee into a tiger genocide...woot.
and in general, he's just a bad ass.

Tag force 4 FINALLY arrived at Gamestop. And it's pretty damn fun actually.
Better than the last set, no more Jaden YAY!
No FORCED tag partners, you get to choose a new one each day or elect to go solo.
To get more card packs you will of course need to partner up as some packs ONLY appear with your partner.
I've only just completed the first heart with Yusei and it seems that until you actually re-team with your partner (at the end of each day your team splits but all progress you've made with them remains) the event you unlocked just waits for you.
This allowed me to partner with Crow to begin gathering the components for a Blackwing deck.

So I bought Muramasa the demon blade earlier, and all I got to say is pardon my language but holy fucking ass crackers is it awesome pretty much everything I was hoping it would be the combat system, making swords, moving around Japan, the Bosses, heck even the little stuff here and there was neat.
I'm definitely getting Odin Sphere now, and here's hoping that we get Princess Crown on either a download service like XBLA or PSN, or on PSP.
