EMS is always practically next-day for me as well... but really expensive.
But, of course, you get what you pay for... though I'd rather spend the extra money on more toys instead of some "immediate gratification" thing.
There's also a much higher chance of being screwed by customs taxes too though. =_='
So I always prefer SAL... tends to "go under the radar" (at least from what I've experience) and arrives at a reasonable speed.

Well it was either SAL or EMS difference was about 1000 yen and as you know I had some really expensive figuarts in the haul. Better safe then sorry. Luckily we don't get charged customs here. Well I haven't been yet anyways.
