Since a couple of people have been PMing me, I thought I'd post an update here so you guys know where I'm at.

Though I originally planned to have CF ready for a December-ish release, my entire semester was overwhelmed with school, work, and writing another feature script - so I had little to no quality time to spend working on Celestial Fury.

In the past few weeks, I've written out the entire audio of the film as-performed (so that I can appropriately plot out the ADR and where more dialogue needs to be), as well as drafting the trailer for the film.

Today I've begun working on the trailer, which I hope to have finished and out to you guys within three weeks MAX. Since the film is taking longer than originally planned, I thought I'd try and put something together for you guys who haven't seen it - hence, a trailer!

I will be out of school until April, and am dedicating January to essentially wrapping up the entire project - so hopefully you guys will still be able to see it before Jungle Fury airs, which will technically still be during PR's winter break hiatus. If not... well, soon thereafter.

I'm trying to get more money together to go back into post and reserve some studio space, so be on the look out in the merch forum for things on sale (like scripts, props, etc.).

I was hoping to have a one-sheet (movie poster) to show you guys, but that's taking a little bit longer than I thought.. anyone out there big into Photoshop? If so, we should talk!

Thanks again for all the interest guys - it's incredible to have so many people excited to see your work. Hope to live up to the hype!

Put it on Veoh.com because it allows for greater quality then Youtube ,but only in dvd quality picture.But i found out that Youtube is going HD in a few months.(G4)

They don't use suits in the film, IIRC.

1. The PR suits in the film are... well, non-existent. We wrote Celestial Fury as a prequel to the series we would've adapted from Magiranger, just like Mystic Force became the one RangerProd put out. Because we didn't have rights, we didn't want to use any full costumes (those we do use in the film, we only use in part).

2. No one is designing them because.. well, the movie was shot last May/June.

Well, I'm not Chris, but the film is going great right now. The man is working himself to the bone to make sure the final released version of Celestial Fury is tighter and even better than the very rough cut screened at Morphicon. But ADR and FX are big time investments, and Chris is a director who oversees every stage of his work. Just give him some time, you'll hear when things are ready to roll. :-)

I don't ask for much, its just I haven't seen a second of this thing, while morphicon goers already got to see a rough cut.

Seriously, I've checked all the places I know, is there anyone who knows where i can find any video of this movie. Does it exist online? I can understand not wanting to release the final cut, but I'd accept clips, just to get an idea

Hi guys!

It's been awhile, hasn't it? Sorry for my absence in the thread, I didn't see it was active until just now.

As CLF said, I've been deep into getting post-production back on the road after searching long and hard to fill the gaps in my team. Things are more or less back on track, but with so much work still left to do I don't want to jinx anything but giving a rough estimate of when we might be finished.

Without being able to secure a capable editor, I ended up having to re-lock the picture by myself (locking the picture allows an edit to go on to VFX and SFX; before it's locked, nothing can be done). That took.. awhile. However! I re-locked it and am in the process of building the soundtrack/special effects - thanks to one of RB's own who's stepped up as Sound Designer/Supervisor, as well as Kurt Kliebisch, a talented VFX artist from Germany (yes.. CF is now an international production!).

I'm trying to get the final cut done as soon as possible, but I'm also not willing to rush for the sake of rushing and inadvertently damaging the potential quality of the end product.

As far as a trailer.. I'd love to put one together and fully intend(ed) to. But seeing as I'm single-handedly handling everything from here on out with the film, my priority is getting work on the final cut done. A trailer would be great, but I have to work on the final product first with so many limits (money, man-power).

When we get further down the line, I hope I'm able to give you guys a definite release date. Rest assured... CELESTIAL FURY STILL LIVES.

In the mean time.. here's a teaser of an updated logo we've been working on as well as a photoshopped production still.
