Jason David Frank met Thuy Trang Years Later?
"8/18/08 Rangernews has a an interesting newsbyte of a JDF panel apearance up. Along with a link to some video. Frank discusses how he almost had a role on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, his "Undressed" apearance with Alyison Kippermen ( who went on to play Taylor in Wild Force, and meeting up with the late Thuy Trang (Trini) a few years after she had left the show. "
I found this on the Power Rangers online website. Does anyone have video or knows what happened when JDF met Thuy Trang? (What they said, what circumstance, etc?)

I don't have a video but a very skillful photographer was at the right place at the right time. This shot is very hard to find so be thankful that I'm allowing you to see it.
Knowing that their love will never be makes her death all the more tragic.

Nobody knows what was said, but JDF WAS seen late at night with a set of bolt cutters.
Twenty four hours later, she was dead.

I'm just imaging JDF and Thuy outside of an airport, at night, JDF sporting a serious beard, the whole meeting being clouded in mystery, with JDF insisting that he and Thuy "have to go back!"

Is that supposed to be funny?
As for that pic, where is that from? I don't know a lot about the comics, what's that situation all about?

Yes. I'm saying he wanted her dead. I'm telling you that he murdered her. He took a set of bolt cutters and snapped her brake line. I'm telling you that it's his fault. He did it- JDF murdered Thuy Trang. Do you understand?

Jason and his agent were in a restaurant in Hollywood one time, and this was around 3 years after Austin St. John, Walter Jones, and Thuy Trang left the show. Jason and the agent take a seat, and guess which one out of the three waited on them? None other than Thuy Trang! Jason said he really felt bad that she was their waitress and wanted to ask her to join them.

And now you know.
Because knowing's half the battle.

That had to be awkward for JDF, but Thuy probably saw him come in and waited on him so she could say "Hi". It's a shame she couldn't get more acting roles, but that's the nature of the biz, and leaving a top-rated show after one season is not the smartest move. Look how few TV actors have had successful careers after doing that, even ones on adult shows. Bet she wished she had hired his agent instead of the one that told her, Walter, and Austin to walk!

I am by no means an authority on this topic, but it has always been obvious to me that Austin, Walter, and Thuy got some really bad advice. They were probably promised the world and none of it came to fruition.
Hell, on Austin's Martial Arts video alone there is proof of that. Walter and Thuy both promote their own instructional videos, neither of which ever saw the light of day to my knoweldge... Walter's possibly, but certainly not Thuy's.
The pilot for the TV program the three of them were going to do seemingly never got off the ground and after that, it apparentley must have been very tough for her to stay a float.
However, she did appear to be on the rise before her passing. She had her role in the "Crow 2" and who knows what would have happened from there.
