Interview with Erin Simms (Maya)

Hello everyone!
I've been on Rangerboard for a time, but as you can see, I don't usually have time to post or follow a thread.

I'm studying Production of Audiovisuals, Radio and Shows here in Spain, and lately I've been doing some research and loving it.

For years, I've known Erin Simms.
For those who don't know, she was casted as Maya in 1999, but was replaced by Cerina Vincent sometime before the series started.

So combining those things, I've come up with the idea of doing an interview with her and publishing here in Rangerboard.

I met her during her days on Canteen, her former band, and now you can check out her great music in her myspace:

I've already contacted her about the interview and she's up to it.
I wanted to do an interview like the one with Audri Marchionno, the first Trini.

So, I wanted to know if any of you is interested to know something about this lady, her audition process, why she left, etc...

I ask the moderators which is the way to do it: do you prefer people posting their questions here, and then I send them to her, or I do the interview with more or less the questions used with Audri?

She looks pretty good as the Yellow Ranger actually. I wonder how different the show would have been...

...on an unrelated point, that pic makes it look like there's two Blue Rangers. Psycho Blue would have a fit if he saw that!

I thought this was going to be an interview with the annoying girl from Dragon Knight since I haven't been assed enough to remember any of that show's actor names besides... *shudder* ...Matt Mullins.

I thought it was the actress from the Dragon Knight pilot.

Not too different from that interview with Audri DuBois, I'd say.

The first two pics make me think she would've had a really different, Catwoman type take on the character, more wild and feral. I always hated how Maya was so comfortable with the modern world, even when it was more futuristic than today. Some conflict with society and the other Rangers (more than Kendrix and the cake fight) would been nice. Erin could've been a good choice!
