Tenaya 7 Commands you to sign this petition: RPM Cast for Comic Con

Adelaide Kane, otherwise known as the sexy 'Tenaya 7' in Power Rangers RPM, desperately wishes to attend this year's San Diego Comic-Con in July. But she needs Disney's permission first.

Please sign this petition and hopefully Adelaide will be permitted to attend the con. If you're going, you might get the chance to meet Tenaya 7 in the flesh (or even the spandex)!

I wouldn't sign without seeing more of her performance first. All we've seen so far is her standing in one spot and opening her eyes.

I may be off base here, but if a con as big as Comic-Con was going to have someone from PR attend, wouldn't they want someone a bit bigger than this chick, who's been in a total of about 3 seconds worth of show?

As we've only two episodes in, that doesn't really make much sense as an argument, since the only characters who've had more than a token number of lines AT ALL are Ziggy and Dillon.

From what we've seen Tenaya 7 is going to be pretty big; she feature in the opening credits, and so far is the only villain who actually requires a consistent actor in the role, since Venjix, Crunch and.... the other one, are purely VA work and anyone could wear the suits.

Not so much "permission" as "approval". But... yeah, she does.

And wait, was she INVITED? Like as a guest? Or does she just wanna show up? Because it would be stupid to try to get her there if she's just going to be trying to sign random autographs and desperately attempt to pimp the show without an actual panel/booth and whatnot. But if she was invited as a guest, then she could ust go to whoever she needs to go to herself and get Disney's permission.

If she wanted to just go to it as a normal person why would she need Disneys permission? I know if she wanted to be in a panel she would need it. Also if she wanted to do a panel, then you do know that SDCC has to invite her, right?

Even if that turns out to be the case (which I highly doubt), isn't it enough that she wants to go meet her fans?

As someone who has experience booking people at SDCC, and cons, in general, I can say the following:

She can come to the con on her own, meaning she pays her on way, hotel, picture printing, etc. She can sell her own pics and do a personal appearance without stepping on Disney's toes. Again, she is on her own and NOT under Disney's promotional endorsement. This means she will have to rent a con-table, if she isn't lucky enough to get one for free, which she much apply for ASAP.

Renting a table is something most actors, who were known at some point, do. In her case, she is so knew, it might not be a good investment. i could be wrong, since the majority of fans are lonely boys with deep pockets.

Something else she'd have to look into is what kind of Visa she needs to get in order to come to the US. She can't apply for a tourist visa, because she is going to work. If she is going to work, she needs a company (Ahem, Disney) to sponsor her for a working visa. That's when Disney decides who comes and what for.

This takes us to option #2, below:

Second option is having Disney run a Ranger panel, as they did in 2005, and have Disney bring the actors along with Adelaide for promotional purposes. This is the best option because everyone scores a trip to the US, and VIP service with all expenses paid by the Walt Disney company.

So, my suggestion is not to have a petition for just Adelaide, but a petition for Disney to host a Ranger panel, at SDCC, and to bring Adelaide with it. With SDCC in the bag, Adelaide could score other US con appearances on her own.

Even if her character is great, does it really warrant an appearance at one of the biggest conventions in the country? I mean, there are quite a few actors out there who have had a much bigger impact on the show: JDF, JYB, etc., and if those guys are making the con-rounds like they are now, why wouldn't SDCC go for someone like them instead?
