was the shameless male nudity not fun enough for you? I thought it was pretty fun.
All in all I can't see how people say this 'doesn't fell like power rangers.' Why? Because it's actually really good. In my opinion it blows MMPRS1 out of the water. It feels like an actual story is unfolding so far. Not a bunch of one shots about teenagers and super powers.

Isn't it nice to have things that make actual sense again in PR?

So Dino Thunder wasn't Power Rangers either? There wasn't any spandex in the first part of premiere. Same goes with SPD. Mystic Force. Others I'm forgetting....

It was the premiere. Zeo, Lost Galaxy, and Dino Thunder didn't have any Ranger suits until the end of the second episode and those are amongst the highest rated premieres of all time.

Ok you're right. Haven't watched those episodes in a while, I'll start on them tonight. I guess I'm thinking too much on how the premiere was presented, two guys finding each other and traveling through the desert. The grunts should've told me otherwise. But still, i just found it odd for me that when Ziggy just blurted out "Power Rangers" at the end I felt suprised. Dunno why considering the premieres you mentioned.

Simple, it's popular.
Hate that which is popular, it's the only way you can be cool.

I find this a really dumb reason not to like RPM. What is Power Rangers meant to feel like? It has changed the way it feels for me plenty of times. I mean look at Space and then look at DinoThunder they feel completely different but your not going to say its not Power Rangers.
One of the reasons I think alot of people dont like is because it might not fit in with the Power Rangers continuity.

We have a show with Ziggy Grover as a Ranger and you don't think this show is FUN?

Well, first I just hate the idea of making a thread about the reasons why we should hate RPM. After three solid years of suck we get what appears to the makings of a very good season and we still need a downer thread like this?
There's no denying that RPM has a few minor issues at this point. Every season does. But it's early and the season has given me enough good faith that I believe it can fix said issues. If it never does then yes, I'll voice my concerns at that time.
I also hate the statement that RPM doesn't "feel" like PR. What? Where is this fabelled list of what makes a season feel like PR? My requirements basically boil down to this: spandex, rubber monster, robots and teenagers (well, it's more like 20 somethings nowadays) with attitude. From there PR can change it's setting and tone as much as it wants. In fact, I welcome it to do so. I don't want a bunch of seasons that are all very similar to one another.
If it says "Power Rangers" in the title then it's probably fulfilled all my uber strict preconditions for being PR and thus I'll move on to judging if it's good or bad.

Heh.
I find it funny that some of you are looking for stuff to complain about, Withdrawal symptoms, perhaps?
but yes, there are some issues, but they are of no complaint, as they would fix themselves with the way this season seems to be written.

The only thing I don't like, not hate, about RPM is the theme song. Sounds like a Toy commercial jingle.
"R P M, GET IT GEAR! R P M, WE STAND TOGETHER! RPM GET IN GEAR! Each sold separately. Some assembly required. New from BanDai."
On the plus side, they are including good music within the episodes.

The only thing to gripe about RPM is the theme song, the rest of the show is the epitome of prodigious...
Hell, the P in RPM probably stand for prodigious. (And yes, I am aware that it actually does not.)

The only thing I could find "hateable" about RPM is the uber spliced, two to three minute zord battles. But, given the awesomeness of the each episodes story, that is easily overlookable.

Charlie McDermott did Hekatoid in MF. Kitaneidas' dub voice in the premiere sounds similar to Hekatoid. Therefore Kitaneidas = Crunch.

And see, this is the part I love. I hate when the zords all the sudden get more screen time than the Rangers. Time Force saw the worst of this; we had a great cast of intriguing characters, but they only got about 5 minutes of a 25 minute episode, with the other 20 minutes being a pointlessly long zord battle (with arguably the most bland set of zords we've ever had, to boot).
And yeah, the theme song is horrendously bad this season.

So I'd have to watch MF to figure out which is which? Do not want...
